FAQ:
What if I need an x-ray?
If you're not sure, the best thing to do is call. Our goal is for you to end up in the right place, getting the right treatment - sometimes that means an urgent care clinic/ER getting an x-ray, sometimes that means our clinic. By having a conversation and asking some crucial questions, we can often determine if imaging is required, and if we aren't 100% sure, we always err on the side of caution.
I'm not an athlete but I have had a recent injury, can I still come?
YES! Working with athletes is something we have become good at, but sometimes life can be a sport! We are happy to help anyone who wants to return to their activities, even if that means washing your hair pain-free, performing your job or taking your pup for a walk. We want you to move through the world as pain free as possible.
Will I have to have follow up treatments?
That depends! Treatment can range from self care at home including active rest or follow up care may be recommended. After assessing the situation, our therapists will provide education and options for moving forward and will recommend which services (athletic therapy, massage therapy, osteopathy) is best for you or if an outside referral might be more appropriate.
I already have a practictioner I work with, but couldn't get in to see them, can I still come?
Of course! And not only are you welcome, but we will be happy to provide a summary of our findings and treatment provided for you to give to your practitioner to help with your ongoing care.
